Scuba Diving in Mactan Island and Olango Island in Cebu Philippines

Last April 2022, I found myself in Cebu so I decided to check out the diving scene in Mactan. This wasn't really on my list but since I was already there, I figured I might as well see if it's worth recommending this place. I was pleasantly surprised with what Mactan has to offer and would definitely come back here! Diving was very cheap to at 1000 per dive which is the cheapest I've paid for while diving in the Philippines! I went diving in Olango Island which is 5 kilometers from Mactan. I highly recommend visiting this island if you are in Cebu. I also did a dive across Plantation Bay, which is just along the shores of Mactan Island. The reef and the island is still heavily damaged from Typhoon Odette so I recommend managing your expectation. With the price and the critters you can find around this area, if I lived near this area, you'd probably find me diving more often!
